NIOS Curriculum Support

A Flexible Academic Path, with Support Along the Way.

Not every learner thrives within a conventional school structure. Some children benefit from a more flexible pace, individualised academic guidance, or additional support with everyday learning and independence.Daffodils Learn helps families explore NIOS-related educational pathways and provides academic support to learners following the NIOS curriculum.

What Is NIOS?

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is an educational board that offers flexible learning opportunities. Families should review the current eligibility, admission, subject, assessment, and certification requirements directly with NIOS.

How Daffodils Learn Supports Learners

Depending on the learner’s needs and enrolled subjects, support may include:
  • Individualised academic planning.
  • Foundational academic and remedial support.
  • Small-group or one-to-one learning.
  • Assignment and examination preparation.
  • Life skills and functional independence.
  • Adaptations to support attention, communication, sensory, or processing needs.
  • Collaboration with families and relevant professionals.

A Learning Environment That Respects Individual Differences

We aim to group learners according to relevant learning needs and academic levels where appropriate, rather than relying only on chronological age.Small-group arrangements may be considered based on the child’s needs, with proposed ratios of 1:3 or 1:5, depending on the program and support requirements. When a learner becomes overwhelmed, staff can support regulation and help them return to learning when ready, according to their individual support plan.

An Important Clarification

Daffodils Learn is not an official NIOS study centre, provider, or representative. We facilitate learning and provide educational support for learners following NIOS pathways. Registration, examinations, official accommodations, and certification are subject to NIOS rules and processes.
Let’s discuss your child’s current learning profile and explore whether this support model may be appropriate.
