Conditions we work with

Whom we support

Each child receives a deeply nuanced clinical approach adapted to their developmental profile.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Differences in social communication, play, routines, and sensory responses.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

Difficulty with attention, impulse control, or sitting still at home and school.

Speech and language disorders

Trouble understanding words, speaking in sentences, narrating what happened at school, or being understood.

Late Talkers

Only using gestures and few single words for communication. First words or sentences arriving later than expected for your child’s age.

Articulation difficulties

Difficulty pronouncing few sounds like /r/, /k/, /sh/ etc. Sounds that are left out, swapped, or hard for others to make out.

Stammering

Repeating, stretching, or getting stuck on sounds and words. Difficulty speaking fluently.

Feeding and swallowing disorders

Picky eating, difficulty with breast feeding, gagging, reflux, constipation, refusing most foods, or difficulty transitioning from purees to solids.

Global developmental delay

Delayed development across segments like motor, speech, play and cognitive delays. Could be due to prematurity, genetic and neurological issues.

Prematurity and high-risk infants

Early developmental monitoring and support for babies born early like 24 to 32 weeks of pregnancy, extremely low birth weight like 560gm, or after a difficult start for babies born prematurely like multiple medical issues.

Specific learning disorders including dyslexia

Persistent difficulty with reading, writing, spelling, or maths despite teaching and home workouts for more than 6 months.

Intellectual disability

Children with cognitive difficulties and slow processing abilities. Children needing support for learning skills and gaining independence in activities of daily living skills.

Sensory processing differences

Hyper or hypo or mixed sensory processing abilities leading to difficulty in achieving equilibrium between brain and body. Strong reactions to sounds, textures, smells and movement seeking behaviours constantly disrupting their routines, participation, and self-regulation.

Many children we see arrive without a diagnosis, and finding out what is going on is part of what we do.
